(December 6, 2004) - The King of Redonda, His Royal Highness King Robert the Bald, and his latest book, "Kingdom Of Redonda, A New King in the Caribbean."

(We asked our cab driver on our way to the airport if he ever heard of The Kingdom of Redonda. He said, "Redonda is one of Antigua's surrounding islands. No one lives there. It's a big rock in the ocean. Forget about Redonda. Do you see your far right? That's Long Island. Alex Trebek (of the TV Show Jeopardy!) has a house there. All the rich people live there. Why are you concerned about Redonda?"

Our cab driver never heard news of the Kingdom until we asked about it but we are proud to cover this small Kingdom in our show report regardless. Hey you never know, maybe our fearless publisher Fuat Kircaali could be the first "Turkish Lord" of the Kingdom, a new chapter in history? :-)

(December 6, 2004) - YV&C enjoyed an afternoon sail onboard DARLING, courtesy of Camper & Nicholsons. Look for a feature story on DARLING in one of YV&C's upcoming issues.

(December 6, 2004) - And last but not least (a very happy) Fuat Kircaali, publisher of International Yacht Vacations & Charters Magazine with Tony Harris, CEO of Boat International Publications, one of the finest in the industry!

This was our second year visit to the Antigua Charter Yacht Meeting and first year as a media sponsor. We want to thank everyone, especially to the show management, for their hospitality and for inviting us again to this great event. We had lots of fun, made many new friends, and leaving the island with fond memories. We can't wait to be back next year! So long everyone...
